My First Blog.....Ever! :)

so, it has come to my attention that many, well probably all of my friends and family have been feeling out of touch with me, my kids, and our life. this has not been intentional on my behalf, and in fact i have felt detached from the people i care the most about, some for a longer period of time than others. in a nutshell, i am creating this blog with the intention to update it daily, or at least as often as i am able, in order to rebuild those lost connections and to give those who are interested, a better glimpse into what is and has been going on in my life. to start, i would like to reiterate (for those who know) and inform (for those who dont), that my life revolves around 5 main things and their names are daniel, joshua, garret, anastasia, and benjamin. well, those are their legal names, i call them danny boy, joshy woo, gare-bear, nonnie, and benji boop :).

each with their very own unique personality. sometimes they make me feel crazy, but the reality is that they are the reason i wake up every day and continue to move forward, my loves.

rite now is a very busy time for me, i am back in school, going full-time (12 units), all of my kids are in school, except the baby, anastasia attends a daily spanish immersion preschool where they speak solely in spanish, joshua attends a spanish after school program once a week, garret and anastasia have started taekwondo classes on mon and wed evenings, joshua will be starting soccer with jenn's son charlie within the next couple of weeks, i am currently in escrow and should be moving into our very own house in 11 more days (yay!) which means my house is in upheaval while i am trying to pack what i can, and somewhere in between all of this i find the time to cook, clean my house, spend time with my munchkins, and work on my homework (finals are coming up and i have a report for 1 class due next week, yuck). basically my days start early and end late, im happy though the majority of the time which is what matters most, and i am thoroughly enjoying the many blessings that are a part of my daily life. did i mention that i also have to volunteer once per week at my kids' school? hahaha, probably more i forgot to mention as well but i will try to fill in the gaps on here, a little each day :).
